Welcome to investors!

The city of Percé has an established reputation as a tourist destination. Its unique surroundings and friendly population provide an exceptional environment for its residents.

The dramatic coastline of Percé joins with the Bay of Chaleurs; the proximity to New Brunswick and the United States creates an interesting setting for its inhabitants. Port services, an airport, and a CEGEP community college are all found within a few kilometres of Percé. With 49 establishments dedicated to welcoming visitors, Percé has a capacity of over 800 accommodation units, as well as a number of restaurants which highlight local produce and the bounty of our seas. An area of Percé has been recognized by the Quebec government as a ‘Natural District', preserving its rich archaeological and historical heritage. Percé is recognized internationally for its culture and arts community. For those interested in outdoor sports, Percé has much to offer. There are many rivers located within Percé city limits- the Malbaie River, for example, offers salmon fishing. Scuba activities are available around Bonaventure Island and Point-Saint-Pierre, as well as sea kayaking, public beaches, and over 40 km of walking trails. A wide variety of activities are accessible throughout the year: bird and whale-watching, deep-sea fishing, quad and snowmobile activities, as well as snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

In 2006, a plan to develop the tourism industry was completed, and a pre-feasibility study for a recreational park was submitted in 2008. The plans to develop this park are underway.
